Heads Up, Not Down
We built Tasteparty so everyone stays engaged with each other, not buried in their phones. Quick ratings, shared screens, and live progress keep the energy in the room.
Born from a love of craft beer and a simple belief that tasting is better when you do it together.
We were at a beer festival, surrounded by incredible brews and good friends. But mid-conversation, one by one, people started zoning out. Heads down, thumbs tapping, logging beers into their individual rating apps. The moment was gone.
That's when it hit me. Why are we all rating alone when we're standing right next to each other? Where's the debate about which IPA was better? The surprise when someone's favorite turns out to be the underdog? The shared excitement?
Tasteparty was born from that moment. A platform where rating becomes part of the experience, not a distraction from it. Where you watch votes come in together, reveal results as a group, and actually talk about what you're tasting.

What drives us every day
We built Tasteparty so everyone stays engaged with each other, not buried in their phones. Quick ratings, shared screens, and live progress keep the energy in the room.
Watch votes roll in together. React to scores as a group. The host controls the pace, so everyone experiences each reveal at the same time. The way it should be.
That moment when the winner is announced? The gasps, the cheers, the "I knew it!" That collective energy is what makes tastings memorable. We live for that.
Blind tasting mode means you rate what's in the glass, not the label. No more expensive bottles winning by reputation alone.

Founder & Developer
Hi, I'm Magnus. A software developer with a passion for craft beer, homebrewing, and cognac. Though I'll never turn down a good wine or whisky tasting either.
I love hosting beer tastings. But I noticed something frustrating. Every time we'd try to rate beers together, people would disappear into their own apps. Heads down, silent tapping, zero conversation. The social magic was gone.
I wanted a different experience. One where we rate together, watch results build in real-time, and share those "no way!" moments as a group. So I built Tasteparty, the tasting platform that keeps everyone present and engaged.
Outside of work, my world revolves around my fiancé, my son, and our dog. When I find a spare moment, I'm usually brewing beer, catching up on shows, or diving into craft beer communities.
My favorite breweries are Salikatt and Mikkeller. For mead, you can't go wrong with Marlobobo, especially anything based on red berries. My cognac of choice is De Luze XO Très Vieille Réserve Superieur. But if I had to recommend just one beverage, it would be Salikatt's Crash Pad. Simply perfect.
The principles that guide everything we do
Technology should bring people together, not isolate them. Every feature is designed to keep the group engaged.
Guests join in seconds via QR code. No downloads, no accounts. Just scan and you're in.
Live voting progress and dramatic reveals create collective experiences that solo rating apps simply can't match.
Tasteparty grows with your feedback. New features and improvements are shaped by the community that uses it.
Join thousands of hosts who've discovered a better way to taste. Start your first tasting for free. No credit card required.
